Nando's have issued an important update on the different restaurant rules for those Tiers 1, 2 and 3 across England.

We've put together everything you need to know.

What have Nando's said?

In an email to diners earlier this week, the peri-peri chain unveiled the rules in place for those planning to head to their restaurants.

Nando's said: "Things might be a little complicated right now, but we want to make sure getting your Nando's is as safe and as simple as possible. After all, in times like these who doesn't need a treat?

"No matter what tier you're in across the country, you can still get your Nando's."

Rules for those in Tier 1 areas at Nando's restaurants:

  • Eat-in is still available for groups of 6 (these can be from different households)
  • Delivery – just head to nandos.co.uk.
  • Collect – walk in and order or choose a time that suits you at nandos.co.uk.

Rules for those in Tier 2 areas at Nando's restaurants:

  • Eat-in is available for groups of 6 (from the same household)
  • Delivery – just head to nandos.co.uk.
  • Collect – walk in and order or choose a time that suits you at nandos.co.uk.

Rules for those in Tier 3 areas at Nando's restaurants:

  • Eat-in is available for groups of 6 (from the same household)
  • Delivery – just head to nandos.co.uk.
  • Collect – walk in and order or choose a time that suits you at nandos.co.uk.

The chain have also made a few changes to make sure both diners and Nando's staff are kept safe.

The changes include:

Queuing

A new system is now in place. Instead of lining up outside the restaurant, diners will need to scan the QR code on display when they arrive, and Nando's will send a text when a table is ready.

Cashless

Nando's added: "Order and pay for your PERi-PERi fix from your table. Simply scan the QR code using the camera on your phone and get ordering. You can still earn Chilli Points and redeem rewards on your Nando’s Card when you pay. "

Keeping distance

Nando's have socially distanced tables and are operating at a reduced capacity.

"With social distancing taking place in our kitchens, we've got a limited menu right now. Most of the Nando's meals you know and love are still there though," they added.

We'll come to you

Nando's say staff will bring everything to the table - including sauces, cutlery and napkins.

Keep it clean

There will be sanitiser stations around the restaurant for diners to use.

Anyone with symptons of Covid-19 has been urged to stay at home.
