Corrie bosses have revealed a first look at one character as she looks on in terror while receiving the jury's verdict in court.

ITV has released a teaser look at all of the drama in Coronation Street next week.

The preview of the ITV soap has revealed that Sarah Barlow will receive her jury verdict as her trial comes to an end.

In July, Sarah, who is played by Tina O'Brein, was arrested on the cobbles on suspicion of murdering Theo Silverton.

Flashback scenes showed Sarah killing Theo with a scaffolding pole after confronting him about how he had been violently abusing her friend Todd Grimshaw.

After months behind bars, Sarah finally got the chance to take to the stand as her trial appeared in court, as viewers watched her try and convince the jury that she acted in self-defence.

Corrie bosses have teased that Sarah's nerves will be 'jangling' as she listens to the barrister's closing speeches.

Elsewhere on the cobbles next week, Debbie is left fearing the worst after she accidentally calls partner Ronnie the wrong name.

The situation is only set to get worse for Debbie, as Ronnie then catches her flirting with another man.

Ross is also set to cause trouble as he forces Dorin and Tyrone to try out boxing but neither of them enjoy it.

When Ruby is keen to take up boxing, and Tyrone agrees she can go, Ross is disapproving.

Later that night, Fiz confronts Ross and accuses him of sabotaging the family film night on purpose.

A storm is also brewing between Daniel and Idris as Daniel tells Ken that the council plans to sell spare land to a fat cat developer.

Daniel tells his dad he resolves to put a stop to it, leaving viewers wondering if Idris and Daniel will go to war.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
