COLCHESTER Castle will host special guided tours to celebrate LGBT+ History Month.
The tours will explore some of the LGBT stories hidden amongst the museum collections.
LGBT+ History Month, which is every February in the UK, promotes equality and diversity, particularly through cultural programmes.
Julie Young, councillor responsible for culture and performance, said: "I’m thrilled that we working to support LGBT+ History Month at Colchester Castle.
"Join us to celebrate, educate and discover the castle’s wonderful collections of objects and the stories attached to them.”
The tours will take place on Saturday 1 and Saturday 15 February between 11am and 2pm.
Each tour costs £3 per person and lasts between 45 minutes and an hour.
Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
