Police dish out 30 fines for drivers ignoring road restrictions
POLICE dished out 30 fines for drivers who ignored road signs and restrictions in Colchester.
Colchester's Community Policing Team issued the tickets along the access only stretch of North Station Road yesterday.
A spokesman for the team said: "Yesterday, officers from Colchester's Communtiy Policing Team conducted checks on the access-only section of North Station Road.
"Around 30 tickets were issued to drivers who ignored the road signs and tried to skip the queues that law-abiding drivers were sat in."
