A WEDDING shop owner, who felt inspired by the Government's successful Eat Out to Help Out Scheme, is offering discount on bridal gowns.
In August the Chancellor ran a scheme which enabled diners to receive up to 50 per cent off their food bill on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Now, Nina's Bridal Boutique, in Dovercourt, is running its own money off initiative between September 15 and October 15 for its wedding dress clientele.
Nina Carman, the owner of the boutique, said the believes the scheme will help out any wedding planning brides who have been affected financially by the coronavirus pandemic.

She said: "We offer a safe environment where our brides are welcomed in a private appointment where they have the entire sanitised boutique to themselves for the entire appointment along with their VIP guests and myself helping and assisting them.
"We - like everybody else - were forced to close during lockdown and sadly all our brides and their husbands to be had to sadly rearrange their weddings for alternative dates.
"The wedding industry has been heavily affected by the pandemic as weddings are now allowed to go ahead but still with strict restrictions in place at the moment."
Ms Carman said the discount can also help brides who are looking forward to booking wedding next year, or the following year.
The boutique is offering 50 per cent off wedding dresses up to the value of £300 per bride.
This is on all designer collections in store.

Ms Carman added: "It's an amazing deal and chance to save a few pennies and also have an amazing, fun experience shopping with us.
"We are a family run boutique in Dovercourt and pride ourselves on customer service and always try to go the extra mile for our beautiful brides."
