POLICE seized a huge haul of drugs, cash and a weapon from a wanted man.
Officers spotted the suspect while on patrol in Greenstead, Colchester, on Tuesday,
He was arrested and later released on bail.
A spokesman for Essex Police - Colchester said: "A wanted male made the rather poor decision to get out of a taxi in front of several marked police cars.
"Upon noticing the police cars the male he uttered some choice expletives before running off and further drawing attention to himself.
"After a short foot chase the male was caught and found to be in possession of a large amount of what is believed to be class A and B drugs, prescription medication, a large amount of cash and a metal knuckleduster."
