HALF-TERM is just around the corner and that means we’ve got one last chance for a nostalgic trip back to the classroom before the children break up.

Today we’re heading back to Colchester Sixth Form College with a selection of pictures from the 1980s and 90s.

One of them, above, is particularly special as it shows all the teachers gathered in September 1987.

Were you taught by any of them?

They say you never forget your best, most inspirational teachers and we’re sure there are many that fall into that category in this picture.

Or perhaps you recognise yourself in our of the other photos on our spread.

Harwich and Manningtree Standard:

Budding engineers - Jonathan Rudge, Dickon Mitchell and Joel Bamford earned themselves a place in the national final of the Young Engineers for Britain competition, in July 1998. Nicholas Smith also worked on the design

We’re always on the lookout for more school nostalgia.
