A stolen motorhome was found in a public car park just hours after it had been snatched from outside a home.
The white Fiat Ducato was taken from an address in Waterside Road, Bradwell on Sea, overnight between Wednesday, March 10 and Thursday 11.
It was reported missing on Thursday morning.
A member of the local Neighbourhood Watch group then spotted the vehicle in Danbury Common Car Park later that afternoon and reported it to officers.
A police spokesman said: "We’re still investigating the movements of the Ducato that night so, if you saw the vehicle in the area, or being driven throughout the district over that time period please contact us.
