TWO motorcyclists were injured after a collision on a country road between two villages.

The incident occurred in Brickmans Hill, which connects Mistley and Bradfield, just before 12.30pm today.

Both riders were injured in the incident, with one man being taken to hospital with a shoulder injury; the other man did not require treatment.

It is unknown what caused the accident.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Two motorcycles were in collision and both riders were injured.

“We are currently on scene while the road is cleaned.”
