Land under A13 sealed off by police amid search for missing person
POLICE have sealed off land under the A13 as part of an investigation into a missing person.
Essex Police have confirmed the area is being searched by officers.
A spokesman said: "We are searching this area as part of a missing persons investigation in Basildon.
"He continues to remain missing and our enquiries are continuing."
A passey-by told the Echo: "There is a sealed off police area under the A13 at the end of Waterville Drive/Chestnut Road.
"This has been like this since last night with regular patrols overnight to prevent people passing underneath it, a part of an ongoing investigation they said."
