Police will be taking enforcement action against the organisers of a car meet.
The force will be taking action against those behind the meet in West Thurrock last night, on Western Avenue.
Officers were present at the scene for when vehicles began congregating at around 8.45pm.
Police had been made aware of the car meet around 30 minutes before.
Chief Inspector Rob Huddleston said: “Anti-social driving from car meets causes disruption and distress within our communities and it diverts our officers from other incidents.
"We will have officers present and will take action against any person committing offences are acting in an anti social manner.”
A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We would urge anyone with information to call Grays police station on 101 quoting incident 1124 of 08/09 or you can visit www.esssex.police.uk.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
