Six members of staff at a Miller and Carter restaurant have all tested positive for Covid-19, it has been confirmed.
The Langdon Hills restaurant was forced to close on Saturday following the outbreak in the steakhouse, and won't be re-opening until next week.
But bosses at Miller and Carter have now confirmed six staff members from one shift all tested positive, with the rest of the staff now self-isolating and have all been tested.
Diners with bookings were left frustrated after they arrived at the restaurant yesterday to find it had closed.
Customers who recently dined at the Miller and Carter claim they have not yet been contacted by NHS track and trace.
A spokesman from Miller and Carter, said: "We’d like to assure our guests that we’ve been working diligently at all times and are taking great care to make sure that their safety and wellbeing, and that of our colleagues, remains at the very forefront of all of our Covid-secure operations.
"Since reopening we’ve successfully introduced new robust safety protocols at the restaurant, which are in line with the Government guidance, including frequent cleaning of all surfaces and new table layouts to ensure guests can social distance within the restaurant.

"Our team have undertaken extensive training in these protocols to ensure the highest safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
"These new measures are displayed in full on our website and throughout our steakhouses.
"As per our Government approved safety protocols, our team members provide daily health checks and are being asked to monitor their symptoms closely.
"We took the decision to temporarily close the Langdon Hills Miller & Carter on Saturday to enable our team members displaying symptoms of coronavirus to follow the appropriate public health guidance and self-isolate.
"We can confirm six team members from one shift have tested positive and the remainder have been tested and are self-isolating.
"We have since conducted a review of all those affected and carried out a deep clean of the premises.
“We’d like to again reassure our guests we are taking this very seriously and that we are closely monitoring the situation with the team.
"We will continue to follow the latest Government advice and we will be working closely with Public Health England to fully support their track and trace efforts for anyone who may be affected. The restaurant will remain temporarily closed and we plan to reopen later next week.”
