Hermes driver found without correct licence while out on deliveries
A delivery driver was found to be out on the job despite never passing a driving test!
Police stopped the driver in Southend and discovered the driver only had a provisional driving licence.
The car was taken from him.
A Southend Policing spokesman said: "PC BALDWIN from the Community Policing Team stop checked a vehicle to find the Hermes Delivery driver was driving with a provisional licence.
"The vehicle was seized for having no insurance and the driver reported for driving without a licence. Please make sure you have the necessary paperwork, licence and insurance for your vehicle."
Hermes was contacted for comment.
