A key stretch of the A13 remains shut this morning due to overrunning roadworks.
The eastbound carriageway is closed between the A128 at Orsett and A1014 at Stanford-le-Hope.
It was closed overnight for roadworks which have yet to be completed.
There are long queues on back to the A1012 Stifford Interchange.
Traffic is being diverted via the A1013 Stanford Road.

UPDATED 9am
The roadworks have been removed and the road is fully reopen. Traffic is beginning to ease.
