HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club are determined to build on their winning start to 2013.
The Wick Lane side kicked-off the new year with a crucial and dramatic victory at Eastern Counties League division one rivals Thurston.
Sean Mills’ side scored a try right at the end to defeat the basement boys 27-23, last Saturday.
Now they are aiming to build on it tomorrow when they entertain the team one place above them in the table – West Norfolk.
“We want to draw a line under what happened last year,” said Mills, who returned to the fray last weekend after a spell on the sidelines due to injury.
“Our form wasn’t as we would have liked and we had so many players injured.
“But the new year means a fresh start.
“We’ve won our first game, to get back on track, and now we hope to go from strength to strength."
