THE Constable League’s Captains’ Cup competition was played at East Bergholt’s Hare and Hounds pub and The Marlborough Head Inn, in Dedham.
John Collins (Skinners Arms A) won at the Hare and Hounds.
He beat Margaret Steed (Skinners Arms B) 2-0, Mark Gunfield (Los Galacticos) 2-1 and David Kempen (Carriers Arms) 2-0.
Bob Race (Crown C) won in Dedham, beating Derek Bird (Mistley FC) 2-1, Mick Butcher (Kings Head) 2-1 and Ray Kemp (Marlborough) 2-0.
Both winners now go through to the final.
The top scorers were Kempen (140), Gunfield (125) and Geoff Ball (123).
The mixed pairs will be held at The Crown and the Skinners Arms on Tuesday, starting at 7.45pm.
