HARWICH’S Emma Joslin was invited to play for North Warwickshire at the Pony Club National Championships, in Cheshire.
She captained her team, which also included Russell Smith and Alex Johnson, to victory after a thrilling final which culminated in a golden goal situation.
They had won all their games to reach the final.
A week later, Joslin (pictured in the centre) competed for Arden at the UKPA National Championships in Dunchurch, near Rugby, riding her pony, Aguahita. Her team came third in the open section.
Older sister Jess, who Emma has been training at home, also competed on Emma’s other pony, Eliza. She took part in the novice section and, along with team-mates Becky Davies and Simon Twinberrow, won all their matches to take top spot at their first attempt.
