LITTLE Oakley were left frustrated after the postponement of their match at Hatfield Peverel.
The hosts’ pitch was deemed unfit by the referee, meaning a blank weekend for the Acorns.
Oakley will return to Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division action tomorrow when they visit Tiptree Jobserve.
They will be without Jamie Dobkin (unavailable) and Liam Duly (injured) but welcome back Matt Stace. Steve Polley is expected to have recovered from a knock.
Harwich and Parkeston, meanwhile, suffered a heavy 7-3 defeat at the hands of Gas Recreation.
The Shrimpers have no fixture tomorrow.
In division one, Oakley’s reserves picked up their first three points of the season with a 1-0 victory against Gas Recreation Reserves.
Michael Palmer scored their goal.
Tomorrow they host unbeaten Coggeshall Reserves at the Memorial Ground (3pm).
