AFTER a long, hard season, Little Oakley Blues were crowned B League champions of the Colchester and District Under-14s League.
In a season where they only lost one match, the Acorns scored over 100 goals and conceded on average of less than a goal every game.
After lifting the C League title just two seasons ago, the boys will now ply their trade in the A League for the 2016/17 season.
Captain Joe Watt, who lifted the trophy, said: "We're close friends as well as team-mates, which has often been the difference during close matches.
"This is our second league title in two seasons and we're now looking forward to next season in the A League."
