LINKS Karate Club returned with a haul of medals from the Qyu Grade English Championships, in Sheffield.
The prestigious event is held annually, giving the cream of karate at lower grades the chance to compete at the top level against each other.
Once again, the Links team selected athletes from their various venues in Clacton, Great Holland, Wix and Dovercourt.
And between them they returned home with three gold, seven silver and two bronze medals.
Results: Charlotte Hope, 14-15 years female -54kg gold and team gold; Rozi Altin, Kata gold; Rebecca Marshall, 12-13 years silver; Ishani Kadambi, Kata silver; Lennie Lock, team silver; Barbie Tallowin, veteran female silver; Finnley Clack, 12-13 years boys' silver; Harry Packford, under nine years boys' silver; Sam Marshall, 10-11 years boys' silver; Leo Beg Baloch, Kata bronze; Louie Fayik, under nine years boys' bronze.
