COGGESHALL TOWN climbed back to second in the Thurlow Nunn League premier division after a 5-0 success against WIVENHOE TOWN tonight.
The Seedgrowers jumped above both Stowmarket Town and Brantham Athletic after a comfortable victory against the bottom-of-the-table Dragons.
Tom Monk put them in front before the prolific Nnamdi Nwachuku netted twice in seven minutes to make it 3-0.
Conor Hubble added a fourth to give his side clear daylight by the interval and Aaron Cosgrove made it five early in the second half to complete an emphatic win for the Seedgrowers.
Stowmarket do not have a game tomorrow but Brantham will hope to reclaim second spot when they host Long Melford at the Leisure Centre.
Elsewhere in the division, STANWAY ROVERS continued their purple patch with a 2-0 victory against Haverhill Rovers at The Hawthorns.
Kem Izzet’s side netted in either half through Romario Dunne and Marley Andrews.
It hoisted them up to seventh in the table, heading into Saturday’s matches.
