FORMER Brantham Athletic manager Matt Carmichael has been appointed first-team boss at Little Oakley.
He replaces Sean Tynan, who stepped down on October 28.
Carmichael, also a former Harwich and Parkeston boss, will be joined in the Acorns' new management structure by James Good, Daryl Eagle and Paul Lambert.
He stepped down as Brantham boss earlier this week, just a few days after joint-boss Michael Brothers departed to concentrate on his playing career, subsequently joining Maldon and Tiptree.
Oakley play in Thurlow Nunn League division one south and Carmichael's first game in charge will be at home to White Ensign on Saturday.
