HARWICH and Dovercourt Golf Club held their annual Club Championship.
Forty players competed for this prestigious trophy and, after 18 holes, the field was cut to 21.
The winner and club champion was Nick Rate, with a gross score of 151, while the silver trophy went to Carl Jobling, with a gross score of 157.
The Paul Partridge Trophy for the best nett score was won by Jobling, with a score of 129 over 36 holes.
In recent vets matches, Harwich lost 4½-3½ at Forrester Park but won 5-3 at home to Braintree.
