HARWICH and Parkeston were brought back down to earth after their 4-0 home defeat against Holland FC in Thurlow Nunn League first division south, writes TERRY FRANCIS.
The Shrimpers were unable to continue their recent winning spell and were well beaten by the Jaffas, in their local derby match.
Harwich conceded a 15th-minute penalty and then a second goal before half-time.
A highlight for the Shrimpers this season has been their goals against record that belies their low position in the league.
However Holland's style of direct no frills football was very effective and found the Harwich defence not at their best.
The visitors' sharp attackers netted twice more during the second half..
Holland goalscorers were Anthony Spirou (2), Ben Dixon and Charlie Ellis-Hall.
