COLCHESTER United interim head coach Hayden Mullins has done an impressive job since taking charge, steering the club to League Two survival.
Working alongside advisor Paul Tisdale, the former Watford coach has helped the U's stay in the Football League after taking temporary charge, at the end of March.
Mullins, who has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award for April, has led them to three wins out of their last four games, enabling them to secure their status in the fourth tier with one game to spare.
Mullins said: “The role was just until the end of the season, so I’m sure we’ll have a conversation after our last game.
“I haven’t really had any conversations around my future.
“It’s a club that I’ve joined from Watford early on in the season and it’s a very good club – I’ve loved working with the players, the staff and everyone here."
