POETS are being encouraged to sign-up to a new series of events by the Harwich Festival.
Open Mic Poetry in the Park will take place in Cliff Park on Saturday May 25, Saturday July 27, and Saturday September 14.
The open mic readings will include a headline act with each poet getting a 10-minute slot at the end of session.
The events are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
