TOP dancers score big
TOP dancers scooped top places at a prestigious championship competition.
A total of ten dancers from Boogie Shoes Dance School in Dovercourt took to the floor in Blackpool for the International Dance Teachers Association freestyle rock n roll event.
But just two came away with first place trophies.
Abigail and Sophie Elmes took top spot in the under nine years old rock n roll class making them national champions.
Dance teacher Katie Dalby said: “Over 60 children qualified in July to do this competition but because of the costs and the distance just 10 attended.
“These 10 children really did me proud."
