A WORLD class trio of musicians are set to grace the stage at the Stour Valley Arts and Music’s penultimate show on March 16.
Trio con Brio Copenhagen blend family ties, culture and music to create an incredible classical concert.
Korean sisters Soo-Jin and Soo- Kyung Hong combine with the latter’s Danish husband Jens Elvekjaer, to create a symphony of sounds from their violin, cello and piano respectively.
However due to Soo-Jin Hong being pregnant international chamber musician Johannes Soe Hansen has been drafted in for this special performance.
The concert at St. Mary’s Church in East Bergholt will see compositions from Haydn, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky expertly played.
Pianist Jens Elvekjaer believes the closeness of the performers improves the quality of the music.
“We have always felt the two and two equals three dynamic provides a uniqueness and intensity to all of our performances,” said Mr Elvekjaer.
