A UNIQUE fairytale holiday home designed by Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry is beginning to take shape.
Work on the controversial site in Black Boy Lane, Wrabness, began in the summer.
The building is a collaboration project between Chelmsford-born artist Mr Perry – who won the Turner Prize in 2003 – architects from the Fashion Architecture Taste studio, and Living Architecture.
The two-bedroom property, on Simpsons Farm, which features statues on the roof and triangular ceramic tiles, will overlook the River Stour.
Living Architecture says the building work has progressed well and the external structure of the house has been completed.
