A BODY found washed up on a beach has been confirmed as that of an Albanian national believed to have jumped from a Harwich ferry.
Police have confirmed the body found on a beach near Buregate Road in Felixstowe last Thursday is that of 27-year-old Leonovid Isufaj.
His death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post mortem examination, however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
An inquest will be held in due course.
Two Albanian nationals being deported from the UK were feared dead after jumping from a Stena Britannica ferry last month.
Following reports of the men having jumped helicopters, lifeboats and coastguard rescue teams scoured the coastline for three hours before calling off the search.
