A NEW windsurfing school hoped to draw in tourists and reinvigorate Dovercourt seafront is setting sail with a trial weekend.
Darren Herbert, 30, hopes his new venture will attract youngsters as well as experienced windsurfers to the area.
It will see beginners take to the waters on Dovercourt Boating Lake, off Wick Lane, and advanced windsurfers use the sea.
The Quiver Windsurfing School will launch with a trial day tomorrow and Sunday from 10am.
Top specification boards from Hawaii have been flown in for the event for residents and tourists to hire.
Demonstrations will also be ongoing through the day.
