THOUSANDS of people turned out to enjoy the first ever All the Fun at the Furze day.

A giant family picnic, inflatables, dozens of side stalls and shows were among the many attractions on the go.

David Ashley, vice-chairman of Lawford Parish Council, said about 2,500 people attended.

“It went really well and there were lots of people in good spirits,” he added The not-for-profit event is due to return in 2016.
