A SCHOOL leading the way with promoting youth health has been filmed for a documentary.
Pupils at Manningtree High School have been taking part in the Royal Society for Public Health pilot scheme for Youth Health Champions since 2008.
A group of 14 to 15 year olds at the school help and advise their fellow peers and organise PSHE lessons.
They became one of the first schools in the country to offer a Level Two qualification for the Youth Health Champions and so far nine students have achieved this.
Now as the Royal Society for Public Health looks to roll out the scheme nationally pupils at the school have starred in a video about being Youth Health Champions.
