A WIND turbine the height of ten London buses could be built in a field between Bradfield and Wix.
The 46.3m high turbine could produce a maximum of 174,000kw of power a year, enough to serve 36 homes in Tendring.
But there are fears the turbine, planned for Goldenferry Farm, in Cansey Lane, is just the latest in a long line of unsuitable renewable energy sources descending on the villages.
The application said: “The proposed development would generate clean, secure, renewable electricity for the duration of its lifetime."
