A COOKERY morning for nursery children was a sizzling success as they learnt how to make fresh and healthy pizzas.
Youngsters at Harwich Primary School, in Barrack Lane, were given top tips by chef Mark Dove yesterday.
Mark, of Treo Bar and Cafe, in George Street, brought in fresh local produce to help teach the children how to choose healthy toppings before demonstrating how to make dough and helping them put together their own pizzas.
Nursery class teacher Serena Lindsay said: “The children had a great fun and got to eat the pizza for their snack.
“The experience developed their understanding of the world whilst celebrating Harvest Festival.”
