YOUNG people who have made a positive contribution to their community could be recognised for their work.
Manningtree, Mistley and Lawford councils are looking for inspirational youngsters.
Their Community Youth Award is in its second year and has a primary school category and secondary school category for people who have done something special in their community.
They could have helped another person, done something to improve their environment or even been part of a charitable organisation.
Each category has a prize of a £200 and a trophy.
Nomination forms are available from Honeycroft post office, in Lawford, Manningtree library, Mistley post office or from essexinfo.net/lawford-parish-council.
The closing date for nominations is November 30.
