LET there be light!
Dozens of people gathered in Dovercourt High Street on Friday to see youngster Tia Newman illuminate the town for the festive period.
Watched by mayor Alan Todd, Tia brought the magic of Christmas to the High Street by pressing the button.
The event, organised by the Harwich and Dovercourt Town Partnership, saw shops open late to offer some early Christmas bargains.
