SHIPWATCHERS braved the cold to view the world's largest container ship from Harwich.

The 400m China Shipping Container Line (CSCL) Globe – which is the equivalent to the length of eight Olympic-sized swimming pools – is docked at the Port of Felixstowe.

It is here today and tomorrow.

This is the gigantic vessel’s first call anywhere in Europe and is the only time to view it in the UK.

Fully laden, the CSCL Globe could carry 156 million pairs of shoes, or 900 millions tins of beans and weighs more than 14,500 London buses.
