A SELF-TAUGHT guitarist is using his twin passions of running and music to raise funds for St Helena Hospice.
Singer-songwriter Matt Calderbank, 27, is taking part in the London Marathon in April.
He is also performing at The Big Gig at the Marquis pub, North Hill, Colchester on March 27, and has pledged to donate all the profits from his debut EP, Perfection is Overrated, to the hospice.
Graphic designer and photographer Matt, who lives in Great Bromley, spends all his spare time running, composing or performing.
He said: “St Helena Hospice is a great community charity I really wanted to support. I hope to raise at least £1,500 by running the London Marathon and anything I raise at the Big Gig will be the icing on the cake.”
