FURIOUS residents clashed with councillors as they raised concerns about a new 360- home development in Lawford.

Last month, Rose Builders outlined plans for the homes, aschool car park, a parish council building and a blue light emergency services centre in Bromley Road.

About 50 people attended a heated meeting of Lawford Parish Council on Monday night.

Residents raised concerns over the number of homes, how local services would be affected and an increase in cars.

Rose Builders is yet to submit plans to Tendring Council.

Chairman Dave Ashley said: “We all share your concerns in regards to schools, in regards to traffic and in regards to doctors’ surgeries.”
