A MULTIPLE sclerosis sufferer is set to tick an item off her bucket list when she jumps out of a plane from an eye-watering 11,000ft.
Catherine Howard, of Stour Close, Dovercourt, was just 30 when she was diagnosed with MS in 1998.
Her family was dealt another blow when doctors discovered her daughter Charlotte, 23, also had the condition after she lost sight in her left eye in 2013.
Catherine, 47, will take part in the tandem skydive for Colchester-based MS-UK later this month.
She took on the daring challenge after attending the MS-UK’s Wellness Studio and being encouraged by the centre’s manager.
“It has been on my bucket list for a while,” she said.
“I am quite badly disabled as a result of MS and I was recently made medically retired and wasn’t sure what kind of things I was going to do.”
