A SPECTACULAR festival that featured unforgettable performances from across the arts spectrum came to a dramatic close last weekend.
The RCM Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir played at St Nicholas’ Church, Harwich, on Sunday evening, following a harpsichord recital at the same venue in the afternoon to close the Harwich Festival of the Arts.
On Saturday, a colourful street show featuring Brazilian capoiera dancers, street performers and live music drew in passers-by.
Festival general manager and chairman of the trustees, Peter Davis, said all of the performances had gone incredibly well.
Ticket sales were not as good as organisers had hoped and Mr Davis said that was something he was hoping to try to remedy in time for next year.
