VETERANS joined the Remembrance Day parade in Harwich this afternoon.
Members of the Royal British Legion gathered at the Merchant Navy memorial on the quay before marching to St Nicholas' Church where a Remembrance service took place.
The parade was led by the Harwich Generations Corps of Drums.
They were joined by youth organisations and members of the Armed Forces.

Mayor Dave McLeod and mayoress Dee King watched the parade as it passed the Guildhall, with standards flying proudly.
Thousands of people across the district joined the nation in paying tribute to those who have gave their lives for their country.
Remembrance Day parades took place at churches and war memorials across Tendring to honour the fallen.

The Manningtree branch of the Royal British Legion also staged a parade this afternoon and the town's Methodist Church held a service this morning with a reading of the names of local people who died in the two world wars.
