SESSIONS are set to take place encouraging people to improve their health through the power of music and movement.

Rehabilitation group Musement will host sing-a-long sessions with music and physical rehabilitation.

Although the sessions are particularly aimed at people who face mobility, cognitive or communication challenges, everyone is invited to attend.

Musement was started by Elizabeth Ratcliffe, a physiotherapy expert from Bradfield, who launched the group alongside her supportive dad Terry in June.

Elizabeth said: “This is something that has been brewing for some time – I have the ability to motivate and bring the best out of people, it is what I have done for 22 years.

“I want to spread joy and happiness and brighten up people’s lives with a little bit of sunshine and positivity – there are so many people who need a little life in their lives.

“Everyone has been coming and enjoying what they want to enjoy and it is definitely proving popular so far, they are just happy to be out doing something different.”

Musement used to have sessions every Thursday in Bradfield Village Hall but has announced these have been cancelled.

The sessions will come to Long Meadows Hall in Dovercourt on Tuesday, September 13 and 27, and Tuesday, October 11 and 25.
