The 5,754 sq ft property has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a single-level annexe, an attached second annexe which is used as a games barn, and a five-bay cart lodge with a garage and a large office above.

The home is set on 4.1 acres of land with a new tennis court, two summer houses, a greenhouse and a number of raised beds.

Since 2020 a series of improvements have been made including renovations to the living space, the creation of an attached annex, turning an agricultural barn into a games barn, the construction of a cart lodge and office and the adding of a tennis court.

A spokesman for Bloomfield Grey said: “In 2022 an attached timber-framed barn which had previously been used for storage, was restored and renovated into a 1400 sq ft games barn, which could also function as a second annexe if required.

“Renovations included a new thatched roof, new ceramic flooring throughout, the addition of a kitchen (fitted with a fridge/freezer, an electric oven with extractor, a sink and a dishwasher) and a new shower room.”

Inside the main home is said to be “brilliantly laid out” with bedrooms on all floors, with four of them having en-suites.

The majority of the home is based on one floor, with the building resembling a U shape.

The kitchen is particularly impressive, being described as “cleverly thought-out, with views down the central courtyard, a vaulted ceiling with Velux windows, a red-brick chimney with double-sided log burner which creates a partial divide between it and the lounge, and an island.

The spokesman added: “Fittings include an induction hob, an American style fridge/freezer and an oil-fired Aga."
