AN outdoor equipment shop in Dovercourt is up for sale.
Clacton Kayaks, a specialist online supplier of watersports equipment, has been put up for sale, as the owners confirmed in an online statement.
The successful shop, located at the Dovercourt Boating Lake, offered supplies around kayaking and rented equipment.
Cameron Richards and his partner Chelsea Lancaster said: “Unfortunately, we are selling our business due to our own recent personal career progressions and our growing family meaning we are no longer able to give the business the time it deserves.
“We have dedicated significant time and effort to it over the past four years, so will be sad to see it move on.
“For the right individual or team with passion, this business offers great financial and emotional rewards.
“While it is bittersweet to let go, we believe it has the potential to achieve new heights with the right owner who can dedicate time to its further development.”
The offer includes all business stock, as well as a bus, the online shop and the long-term lease of the Dovercourt Boating Lake premises.
