A cleaning van stolen in Harwich has been recovered more than 100 miles away.
The KO-Sheen van was taken from the cleaning company’s base at Foster Road, Harwich at some point on Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
On Wednesday, February 22, the vehicle was found in the Thames Valley area and it is now being brought back to Essex where a forensic examination will take place.
Police originally feared the thieves stole the van in order to con their way into people’s homes.
Anyone who has information in connection with the theft of the van is urged to contact investigating officers at Harwich police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
