Three men were mugged in a Dovercourt underpass after one was punched by a man claiming to have a knife.
A 19-year-old Dovercourt man and two of his friends were approached by a man in the underpass that leads from Marine Parade to Mill Lane at 8.45pm on Tuesday February 21.
The man punched the teenager and forced him to hand over his phone and wallet, before stealing his friends' phones.
The robber was dressed in a dark jacket with his hood up and a scarf across his face.
Police would like to hear from anybody who saw a suspicious person near to the underpass between 8pm and 9pm hrs on Tuesday.
