A DANCE troop trying to raise vital funds to take them to a national show were told to move on when they busked near a town centre market.
Boogie Shoes Dance Academy, which teaches children across north east Essex, planned for 50 youngsters to dance for four hours near Dovercourt market on High Street last Friday (February 17).
They were trying to raise £1,685 needed for a coach to the Royal Albert Hall in London where they plan to enter a national dance show.
But stall holders reported disruption to Tendring Council and asked for the children to be moved on two hours into their campaign.
Katie Dalby, who runs the school, said it ruined a vital lesson about the value of money.
Harwich and Dovercourt Partnership said some stall holders had complained of fumes from a generator affecting their sales.
