SOME may see it as damaging property, others may see it as step in the right direction - but just who framed the Mistley fence?
A wooden frame has been attached to a cut-out section of the fence on Mistley Quay, providing a clear view of the landscape.
Nobody knows who is responsible for the frame, but it is the latest development in the saga which began in 2008 when quay owners Trent Wharfage (TWL)erected the six-foot fence.
Tendring Council’s cabinet member for planning, Carlo Guglielmi, said the hole in the fence had been there since a planning directive preventing any repair or development, known as an Article 4, was issued last month.
